Better Evaluation
The Ohio Program Evaluators Group (OPEG) is a professional community dedicated to advancing the quality and use of evaluation across Ohio. Founded in 1980, OPEG brings together evaluators, researchers, students, and decision-makers from nonprofits, government, academia, and the private sector. We promote ethical, practical, and equitable evaluation by hosting events, sharing resources, and creating space for learning and connection. Our members are united by a belief that good evaluation leads to better programs, smarter policies, and stronger communities.
A community of evaluators
Through events, peer learning, and strategic partnerships, OPEG supports the professional development of evaluators and promotes the thoughtful use of evaluation in a wide range of contexts. We create opportunities for connection, knowledge-sharing, and reflection, helping members stay current with evolving methods and responsive to real-world challenges. Whether through formal trainings or informal conversations, our work fosters a culture of learning and continuous improvement across Ohio.
