The Ohio Program Evaluators' Group (OPEG) is a statewide organization of professionals. OPEG was founded in 1980 by program evaluators in mental health organizations across Ohio, OPEG has now grown to an enthusiastic organization of over 200 members representing a cross section of agencies, institutions, and fields. The purposes of the organization are:

The knowledge and diversity of the membership provide a unique opportunity for members to exchange information and ideas on evaluation practice, methods and theory. Please watch the website for the schedule of OPEG's annual networking and training events. The Spring Exchange in May offers members an opportunity to share what they are doing in the field and network. The Fall Workshop in November is primarily a training event featuring experts in the field of program evaluation. OPEG also presents an annual Recognition Award to a member for outstanding contributions to the field of program evaluation. Members are persons who conduct or have an interest in program evaluation, research, and planning as integral components of mental health, education, substance abuse, health, criminal justice, and other human service organizations in Ohio, or who have the designated responsibility for such activities. Individuals enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs in human services, education, criminal justice or behavioral sciences and who are interested in program evaluation may also become members. Annual dues, which are $30 per member per calendar year, help defray costs of workshops and a newsletter for the membership.

We invite you to join OPEG! Please use the membership application and join today.
