Listening Skills for Leaders: How to Conduct A One On One Conversation To Motivate Others

Wednesday, 23 January 2013
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (Eastern)

We often hear about the need to motivate staff, members and volunteers in non-profit organizations. We often hear about the importance of listening. But how do we listen skillfully to motivate staff and members of our organizations? This NonprofitWebinars.com session will focus on how to conduct a one on one conversation with members or potential members of your organization in a way that allows you to understand and tap into the power of another’s personal purpose, history and values. This session will offer:

  • An understanding of the place of people’s purpose in life in motivating them to do their best
  • A specific set of guidelines and questions you can use to hold a one on one relational meeting
  • A specific check-list you can use at the end of your one on one meeting to evaluate what you learned
