Call for Proposals: EERS Evaluation in a Complex World

  • 16 Dec 2011
  • Online
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 16, 2011
FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS TO THE 2012 EERS CONFERENCE

Proposals for presentations at the 35th Annual Eastern Evaluation Research Society (EERS) Conference (April 29-May 1, 2012) are now being accepted until December 16, 2011.

The 2012 conference theme is: Evaluation in a Complex World: Balancing Theory and Practice.

We welcome proposals for individual presentations, panel presentations, and skill-building sessions. Students can submit presentation proposals in a separate category.

More information about submitting proposals, as well as information about our Plenary Speakers and Pre-Conference Workshops, is available on the EERS website: www.eers.org.

As a local affiliate of the American Evaluation Association, EERS has been serving evaluators in the northeast region for over thirty years. Our annual conference is designed to

(a) provide a forum for learning, networking, and sharing expertise in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere,

(b) provide opportunities for learning new skills at multiple levels,

(c) nurture new evaluators and inspire seasoned evaluators, and

(d) facilitate cross disciplinary discussions about evaluation in both formal and informal contexts.

The conference provides a range of sessions that promote interaction and exchange of ideas, as well as opportunities for skill-building, rather than simply a delivery of presentations by speakers.

We look forward to receiving your proposals for presentations
at the 2012 EERS Conference.

Any questions regarding submissions can be directed to Program Co-Chairs Liesa Stamm or Bill Burton.
